Ruptured Unfurling
Today, I made this arrangement to celebrate the end of a bountiful & beautiful program I was in for the last 6 months ✨. I tried lots of new things in this arrangement. All of the techniques stem from a desire & form of play. Additionally, these new techniques are a result of overcoming functional fixedness (a formal phrase that means being innovative & intuitive with what surrounds you). This assemblage is called Ruptured Unfurling.

I wanted to work with a new color palette that I normally don’t gravitate towards. I chose to work with soft pinks that rupture into brighter pinks & purple. I think it turned out so beautiful! Also, can we get a little commotion for the vessel?
Also, I’m not normally a rose girl but I got my hands on premium garden roses. The scent of these roses alone was enough to turn the tides of my opinion in their favor! The scent continues to waft through the entire room I place the assemblage in 🥰.
Here’s to celebrating ourselves for every moment & with every breath for stitching an assemblage we call life. In a world that fights so adamantly to stifle/steal our breath, may we continue deeply breathing as our birthright.
won’t you celebrate with me?
